A Perfect day (part 2)

If this was your last day on earth how would you live it? It’s a question that helps focus the mind on what is really important in life. So often we live with burdens from the past or with a view to the future, so it’s actually quite liberating, and empowering and biblical to live life one day at a time. This doomsday question obviously does a great job in cropping off all subsequent days, but with them gone all the previous days seem somehow less influential too. Perhaps that is because many of their consequences and concerns no longer stretch out in front of us but lie slain only a few hours into the future. Or maybe it’s because we have one last chance to make a break for it and live as we have always wanted to live. It’s now or never.
