Christopher Hitchens on Dawkins

For some reason this sent a chill down my spine. Not sure if it was a good one or bad one. I love that you can see the person here. Not the angry argument machine, not the fluent orator, but a real person. A person opening the door just a tiny tiny crack to the possibility that the thought that there might be a God isn’t something stupid and contemptible, to be waved away in indifference or crushed beneath his feet . And a person seeing, as if in a mirror, something that causes him to pull back. Something that still haunts him to this day. As I say, spine tingling stuff but I may be reading too much into it.
